आईबीपीएस पीओ परीक्षा पात्रता – There are certain parameters which are considered for a candidate to be eligible for the exam. For IBPS PO 2020, the nationality of the candidate, the age limit of the candidate on 01.08.2020 and educational qualification is necessary to consider.

The candidate should satisfy the nationality condition first. The condition is as follows:
The candidate must be either
- A citizen of India or
- A subject of Nepal or
- A subject of Bhutan or
- A Tibetan Refugee
- A person of India origin who is a migrant of Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India
The candidate who belongs to other countries or is migrants should produce the certificate of eligibility which has to be issued by the Indian Government.

IBPS PO Educational Qualification Criteria
The next factor is the educational qualification of the candidate which makes a lot of difference. The eligibility criteria on the basis of educational qualifications are explained in the following article.
The candidate must possess a degree (graduation degree) in any discipline from the Indian Government recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
The candidate should have a valid mark sheet/ degree certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he/ she registers and indicates the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.

Calculation of Percentage of Educational Qualification
The percentage marks would be arrived at by dividing the total marks obtained by the candidate in all the subjects in all semesters/ years by aggregate maximum marks in all the subjects irrespective of honors/ optional/ additional subject if any.
The fraction of percentage which would be arrived after calculating the above-written process will be ignored for example if the percentage is 59.99% then it will be treated as less than 60% and 54.99% will be treated as less than 55%.
The marks calculation information is made only for the candidates so that every candidate should be aware of the process of how the calculation of percentage would take place in order to decide the eligibility criteria on the basis of educational qualification.

IBPS PO Age Limit Criteria 2020
There is the limit imposed on the age as well. The candidates should satisfy the age limit and then only he/ she would be allowed to appear for the exam. The Age limit on 01.08.2020 for a candidate is 20 years which is the minimum age and 30 years which is the maximum age for this post.
The age limit is general until the candidate is under any ibps po age relaxation criteria. The candidate should not have born before 02.08.1988 and later than 01.08.1998 (both dates inclusive).

There are some age relaxation as well in the upper limit of the age which is decided by IBPS.
